My position and calling:

Social Studies Teacher

 

 

 
I have a BA in History from Delaware State University and during my undergraduate studies I was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta History and Political Science Honor Society.  Before becoming a teacher at BCIT I worked at The McGraw-Hill Companies in the circulation division. Working at McGraw-Hill was an educational experience that provided me with invaluable tools that I use in the classroom.
 

Additional Information:
I am currently a Co-Advisor for the Incredible Class of 2012. I am also a member of the I & RS Team at BCIT Westampton.
 

My Teaching Philosophy:

I believe that all teaching should be done with excellence and without prejudice.  All students should have an equal opportunity to learn and be educated regardless of the pupil's background.

 

 

My Inspiration:

 In my class we learn about events that happened yesterday and discuss events that occur today. My students are the history makers of tomorrow.
