I tutored math for over 20 years, and have been teaching for 7 years. I graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor's degree in Math and Science. |

| Teaching Philosophy: |
I believe that every student can be successful in math. My philosophy is to find a way to relate math to our everyday lives and give the concepts meaning to each student. We all learn in different ways, and view life in different ways, so I do not believe there is only one way to be successful in a math class. |

I want each student to come to class with ideas and creativity. Together we can map and create a class that each student will take an active interest in and walk away at the end with ideas that will last a lifetime. |
