Dr. Frank Ranelli, Principal
My philosophy of education is simple - provide students with the skills they need to properly react to real world, unpredictable situations and solve problems with creativity and productivity. Utilizing teamwork, resources, and innovative programs, it is our responsibility to put kids first and guide them in becoming positive contributors to BCIT, our community, and society.
After receiving a degree in Marketing I spent four years in the business field before I attended Kean University to obtain my Teacher of the Handicapped certification. I then worked in the Woodbridge Township School District for nine years as a special education teacher, club advisor, and coach. After my wife and I relocated our family to Burlington County I worked at Northern Burlington Regional High School as an assistant principal. In 2005 I took the position of high school principal in Lindenwold, NJ allowing me to put into place many programs directly in line with my philosophy.
Here at BCIT I have the opportunity to work with excellent educators and students in pursuit of common vocational and academic goals. I truly enjoy working together with high school students in raising their expectations, sharing in their successes, and achieving their goals.
