| Background: |
I graduated from St. Peter's College with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Minor in Secondary Education. I earned my Master of Science Degree in Teaching Adolescence Mathematics from Fordham University's Graduate School of Education. I taught at two different New Jersey Public High Schools and one in NYC. This is my second year at BCIT and I am extremely happy to be part of the BCIT family. I know that this is going to be a great year!

| Calculator: |
Each student is required to have their own graphing calculator
(TI-83 or TI-84). We will be using the graphing calculator and its various functions to enhance your child's understanding of Algebra I. They can be purchased at Staples, Office Depot, Walmart, Target, & online. Sites like amazon.com and ebay.com also carry them but you run the risk of purchasing a calculator that may not work. |
| Looking for additional help after school? |
If you are struggling with Math, English, or Science you can receive help during the after school homework club. It will begin the week of October 31st. There will be a Math teacher for Math help on Wednesdays and Science teacher for Science help on Thursdays in the Media Center from 3:20-5:15. Transportation will be provided home.
English help will begin the week of November 29th.
To sign up for homework club please see your school counselor. Sign up must be done by Friday of each week for the following week so transportation can be arranged. |
