Mr. Joseph Venuto
Rowan University: Bachelors History/Secondary Education
Wilmington University: Masters of Educational Leadership
After graduating from Highland High School in Blackwood, NJ, and attending Rutgers in New Brunswick, I transferred to Rowan University to finish my degree in history and become a certified teacher. In 1998, I was fortunate to be hired at BCIT-Westampton Campus where I served as a social studies teacher and a soccer and wrestling coach. In April of 2004, I was promoted to the position of assistant principal of the Medford Campus where I spent three years. At this point, I have the opportunity to lead, with the assistance of a quality staff, community and student body as principal of the Westampton Campus. I enjoy working with young adults on their mission to be lifelong learners and positive contributors to society. My profession is fulfilling, as I am able to observe our students succeeding in their vocational and academic areas, and serve our community by ensuring a better future for our citizens.
