Attention all talented students, it's time for Student Council's annual TALENT SHOW!! This year's Talent Show will be held on Friday, February 3rd. Auditions for the Talent Show will be held afterschool today.


"The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Black Cat," "The Masque of the Red Death," "The Raven..." All of us have had the experience of reading a piece by Edgar Allan Poe. Did you know that if he were alive, Poe would be celebrating his 208th birthday this month? Help the Teen Writers Guild celebrate Poe's birthday by buying a Dress Down Day pass! You must wear a black shirt, black pants (or both) as part of your "dressed down" attire on JANUARY 20th. Dress down passes are $4.00 (regular cost), $2.00 for Blue and Red Pride Card holders, and FREE for Gold Pride Card holders. *Gold Card holders: You must still get your name on the list if you plan to dress down on January 20th. If you are interested in purchasing an Edgar Allan Poe Dress Down pass, please see Ms Bartello in room D206 or Ms Fessenbecker in room D204.

Congratulations to Maryssa Hodder on her acceptance to Quinnipiac University.  Maryssa was awarded $21,500 per year for a grand total of $86,000. Great job Maryssa and Good Luck!


Attention all juniors! If you are interested in Boys State or Girls State, please write an essay on this topic: Participation in Boys State/Girls State, and What It Would Mean to Me. Bring your essay to guidance by January 27th 2017. Thank-you!


The Class of 2019 is hosting a school wide dance on Friday, February 10. The theme is Neon Night and the cost for tickets is $8, $4 dollars for Red and Blue Pride Cards, and Free for Gold Pride Cards. Gold Pride Card holders must still sign up in order to attend. All students are invited and anyone bringing a non MedTech student MUST fill out a Guest Form and return the completed form upon purchase of the tickets. Tickets will be sold in February and more information will follow! If you have any questions please see Ms. Danser or Mr. Van Sciver.


Congratulations to the Medford Tech Robotics Club for their outstanding participation in the Vex Qualifier Competition held at Cape May Tech on Saturday. All four teams performed well, showed great competitive spirit & teamwork. A special congratulation goes out to Team Magenta Fence which consists of Jaxson Bonsall, Nicolas Pilawski, Lauren Romano, Jacob Titus and Nathan Mehta. Their team advanced to the finals. Although they lost in a very competitive final match, they won the Design Award for having the best Engineering Notebook in the field. The Design Award qualifies Team Magenta Fence to the State Championships in March.


Seniors - are you going into a career in a technical field? Here is a scholarship worth $500 for you, the Eric Toub Memorial Scholarship. Please stop by the Counseling Office for the application.
