Adult Education's Partnership with BCIT Foundation
Welcome to the Burlington County Institute of Technology Adult Division where we offer solutions for related technical instruction for certification, licensing, instruction, apprenticeships and customized business training for adults.
Found in the largest County in the State of New Jersey, the Burlington County Institute of Technology Adult Division is a public, non-profit post-secondary institution. The BCIT Adult Education division serves an important role in Burlington County and the State of New Jersey. The BCIT Adult Division is a great resource for the underemployed, unemployed, veterans, those returning to the workforce, college graduates who are looking to expand their skill base, career changers or an opportunity to continue the coursework completed in high school to name a few.
Though there are many benefits to promoting a skilled workforce and providing the appropriate related technical instruction to support this, the number one most challenging factor is that many individuals who would like to enroll in our programs, may not be in a position to pay for the entire course or program registration. Without some time of assistance, their desire to follow their dreams may never come to fruition.
I am happy to announce that for the first time, the BCIT Adult Division has entered into a collaborative partnership with the BCIT Foundation which is a 501(c)3 and will now be able to offer financial aid or scholarships to our students who are deemed in need. We encourage our community businesses and individuals to consider donating to our foundation so that we can prepare more individuals with skills to meet the workforce needs and address the skill gaps.
On behalf of the BCIT Adult Education Team, I extend my gratitude for the generosity of individuals and businesses that support our purpose and mission.
