    On January 10, 2022 the Biden administration required insurance companies and group health plans to cover the cost of OTC (over the counter) Covid 19 tests beginning on January 15th with no cost to members. 

    If you have active coverage through AmeriHealth NJ - The requirement includes up to eight (8) tests per individual member of the plan per month, meaning that a family of four (4) could get 32 tests per month.  At this time, it is recommended to save all receipts for reimbursement on tests purchased on January 15th or later.
