Our Board of Trustees is on the lookout for Volunteers
BCIT Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization the operates separately from, but in partnership with the school it supports. BCIT Foundation raises money for education-based technology and post-secondary scholarships to help students and staff at both campuses in Westampton and Medford. Since its inception in 1999, BCIT Foundation has donated more than $500,000 to the school.
We're always on the look-out for volunteers who want to join our efforts. Ideally, the BCIT Foundation Board of Trustees would mirror the kinds of careers that the school focuses on, but more importantly we aim for a well-rounded collection of dedicated supporters.
This is unconventional position, and we ask interested candidates to start with a phone call to the current director. You’ll learn how the position has operated in the past, and understand more specifically what’s involved in day-to-day operations. Interviews are targeted for Aug. 29.
Title: Director, BCIT Foundation

Workload averages 12 hours a week: less in low-demand times like summer and more in high-demand times surrounding Foundation events. The Director works along with Burlington County Institute of Technology, but this is not a school district or county position.
