Radar, television, radio, telemetry, data acquisition and storage, radio, data processing, programming, and computers are all examples of systems that relate to the use of electronics. Students will learn to recognize, interpret, and use a wide range of conventional and sophisticated test equipment. Throughout the course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the basic principles and concepts of electronics. They will be able to read and understand technical literature, blueprints, and schematics. Successful students of electronics may find employment in the field as entry-level technicians or may continue with advanced studies in such fields as engineering.
