Mr. Sitchler

Automotive Technology is designed to meet the ongoing demand for trained, (ASE) Certified Automotive Technicians. This program includes high tech training in the ten areas of fundamentals, engine repair, automatic transmissions, manual drive train, suspension and steering, braking systems, electricity and electronics, HVAC, engine performance and light duty diesel engines. These ten modules combine to give the student an exposure to the entire field. Students work on vehicles using state of the art equipment to perform routine maintenance and to diagnose and repair problems. 

This program is certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation

ASE Master Automotive/ Heavy Truck Technician with 40 plus years of experience in all aspects of vehicle repair

 

Teaching Philosophy: 

I want the students to learn the fine aspects of automotive technology and thirst for all the knowledge I can provide them, and learn to enjoy this career as much as I do.

I have an associates degree in Automotive Technology, a bachelors degree in Information Technology Visual Communications, a masters degree in Education Curriculum Instruction Computer Education and 24 years experience in the United States Air Force as a Vehicle Technician.
