BCIT Restart & Reopening Plan -see below
(updated September 21 ,2020)
December 2, 2020Dear BCIT Parents/Guardians:
Today, three staff members in one classroom at BCSSSD, reported positive COVID-19 test results and one student at BCIT reported COVID-19 symptoms. In light of these developments and in consultation with the Burlington County Department of Health and our Board, we have reached the conclusion that we will pivot to all remote learning for our combined district beginning on Monday, December 7, 2020 and continuing until January 4, 2021. The normal school schedule will continue through the end of this week for students and staff. However, students who have been attending school in-person and wish to attend school remotely tomorrow and Friday will be accommodated.
We are grateful to our entire school community for the efforts that so many have made to provide an in-person learning experience this Fall. We look forward to resuming that option after the holidays.
Thank you all very much for your continued patience and support. Rest assured that as developments occur, updates will promptly be provided to you. Building level administrators will be in touch with our parents in the coming days.
Sincerely,
Dr. Christopher Nagy
