Hello! This is my website for English Language Arts at BCIT Medford. I'm so excited for this school year, coming back, and building community again. My philosophies in education are...

1.) I believe that the most important foundation of teaching starts with building strong, trusting relationships with students and learners.

2.) I believe in cultivating and maintaining a positive, intellectual community within the classroom, where both students and myself can learn and grow together.

3.) I believe in active monitoring of student interests, behavior, and focuses and adjusting in the moment to promote quality engagement. 

On here, you can find my syllabi for English I, English III, and English IV (see the tabs on the side of the web page). While these syllubi are subject to modification throughout the year, you can find my class expectations and policies listed on each one. I've also attached the school curriculum for these classes beneath the syllubi.

My class assignments will primarily be posted on Google Classroom to keep our BCIT routines streamlined, but please look forward to great in-class activities as well. Grades, while available on Google Classroom, are most accurate on Genesis.
