The invention of the internet has made communication of primary importance in today's world. In order to communicate, it is necessary to understand the language and culture of the person with whom one is communicating. Therefore, I teach students to listen, speak, read, write, and understand the language and culture of others. In this manner, they learn to appreciate and understand other cultures and improve themselves and the world around them.
