    Work Hard-Play Hard!

    Certified Athletic Trainer

Background: I graduated from Catawba College with a degree in Sports Medicine and from Rowan University with a concentration in Health and Physical Education k-12.

    Teaching Philosophy:

I accept the responsibility, as an educator, to meet the needs and challenges of every student. I understand that every child learns at a different pace; therefore, my teaching style is flexible and creative. Recognizing that I take part in every child's success, I will help my students set realistic and challenging goals. An interdisciplinary approach to education will allow students to engage in activities that involve critical and creative thinking, group interaction, problem solving skills, and decision-making skills. Through cooperative education students will increase their positive self-image and attitude toward others and school  I view myself as a team player who wants to work with the classroom teachers and administration to educate the "whole" student. I am looking forward to using motivational and creative techniques to provide every student with a positive educational experience.
