    Position: Science Teacher
       
    Background:
    I have been teaching at BCIT since September 2001.  I have taught a variety of courses and levels.  I am currently teaching biology and STEM science. 
     
    I earned my bachelor's degree at Chestnut Hill College.  My major was environmental science and I had a double minor in biology and chemistry.  I then earned my master's degree in science education at Drexel University.  I then completed a program at Rutgers for my special education certification. 
       
    Teaching Philosophy: I feel each individual has potential and it is the job of the teacher to do their best in finding the strengths of their students and working on furthering their skills.
