January is New Jersey School Board Member Recognition Month and we would like to take a moment to honor and show our appreciation for our Burlington County Special Services School District and Burlington County Institute of Technology Board of Education Members. These dedicated members go above and beyond to ensure that our students, staff and schools excel in their respective missions. We are grateful for their countless hours of service and commitment to provide the resources necessary to meet the needs of all students. The following Board of Education members were recognized last evening at our January Board of Education meeting for their combined service of 114 years to education:
Robert C. Silcox, Board President - 40 Years
Paula D.Lee, Vice President - 30 Years
Daryl Minor-Vincent, Executive County Superintendent, Deputy Commissioner
John J. Ferry - 24 Years of Service
Leon E. Jones - 10 Years of Service
Lorene Moore – 9 Years of Service
Anna Evans - New Board member
