At BCIT Adult Education, our mission is simple but powerful: to ensure every student, every day is a success. This week, our instructors are leaning into that mission with new energy, new tools, and a renewed sense of purpose.

We’re excited to roll out our brand-new Instructor Playbook, a resource designed to support high-quality teaching and learning strategies that reach every type of learner who walks through our doors. This playbook will serve as both a guide and an inspiration as we continue to grow together as educators.

Adding to the momentum, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Davenport for our first Adult Education Instructor Professional Development session of the year. Dr. Davenport will be leading a dynamic and engaging session focused on equipping us with the strategies and tools that make high-quality instruction not just an idea, but a reality. This is a unique opportunity to learn from an expert while also collaborating as a team to move our mission forward.

We are also inspired by Dr. Holly’s “Mission Possible” message, reminding us that our work is not only important—it’s essential. Every student who joins our programs brings unique goals, challenges, and potential, and it is our responsibility and privilege to help them succeed. With a shared commitment and clear strategies, we know that our mission truly is possible.
