In celebration of CTE Month, the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) invites YOU to participate in our annual CTE Dress Down Week! Step out of uniform and show your pride in your career pathway all week long!
🍦 The Shop with the Most Participation Wins an Ice Cream Social (for all 4 blocks!)
NTHS members and CTE teachers will be tracking participation daily — so show up and show out!
Here are your themes for the week:
⭐ Monday 2/23 – Are You Famous? Are You a Celebrity?
Dress like a famous person or celebrity connected to your future job field or career pathway.
Examples: Steve Jobs (Technology), Nikola Tesla (Engineering), James Herriot (Veterinary Medicine), a renowned chef, designer, artist, etc. Get creative and represent your industry icons!
🤝 Tuesday 2/24 – Collaboration Day
Team up with a friend or classmate and dress alike (or in coordinating outfits) to highlight teamwork — a key skill in every career field. Matching scrubs, business partners, chefs, tech twins — show how collaboration leads to success!
💜 Wednesday 2/25 – NTHS Day
Wear purple to celebrate CTE Month and show your support for the National Technical Honor Society. Let’s flood the halls with purple pride!
🌟 Thursday 2/26 – Inspiration or Mentorship Day
Dress like you’re stepping into your dream job — or dress like a mentor who inspires you. Represent the professional you aspire to become and inspire others along the way.
🚀 Friday 2/27 – The Future Is Yours
Dress in business casual or interview-ready attire to highlight your career goals. You can even wear a name tag or badge with your future job title. It’s all about showing that you’re career-ready and future-focused!
⚠️ Reminder:
All outfits must remain school-appropriate and follow the official dress code. For safety and security reasons, no masks or simulated weapons are permitted.
Let’s make this the BEST CTE Month yet — participate, represent your shop, and lead the way! 💪✨
