National Honor Society is a member based club for qualifying Juniors and Seniors who have met high academic standing. Students who earn a 3.6 GPA or higher at the end of sophomore or junior year will qualify to receive an invitation to apply.

Membership in NHS is based on a candidate's commitment to the Four Pillars:

• Scholarship

• Service

• Character

• Leadership

Candidates go through a rigorous application process where they have to demonstrate their commitment to National Honor Society's Four Pillars. The application is reviewed by a faculty committee and students are typically notified around mid November of their acceptance. Members are expected to maintain a commitment to the 4 Pillars as members of the organization.
