Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at BCIT Westampton!
Our mission is to fully prepare, support, and empower students to become independent, productive, self-fulfilled, lifelong learners who make meaningful contributions to our school, community, and society.
The School Counseling is dedicated to supporting the total development of every student academically, socially, emotionally, and personally. Our team of six school counselors, along with our Student Assistance Counselor, serves as advocates for students by providing guidance, resources, and support throughout their high school journey. Preparing students to succeed in an ever-evolving world is a shared responsibility, and we believe the strongest outcomes are achieved through a collaborative partnership among counselors, administrators, teachers, support staff, parents, and students.
As we begin this new school year, we extend a warm welcome back to our returning students and an especially heartfelt welcome to our newest BCIT Westampton students and families. We hope you had a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer, and we are excited to have you with us.
Our comprehensive school counseling program is designed to help students achieve academic success while preparing for college, career, technical training, military service, or other post-secondary opportunities. We also strive to help students develop the knowledge, skills, confidence, and character needed to become responsible, resilient, and successful adults.
As you begin the 2026–2027 school year, we encourage you to reflect on your goals, discover what motivates and inspires you, and challenge yourself to make the most of every opportunity. Whether you're exploring career pathways, preparing for graduation, or simply striving to do your best each day, the School Counseling Department is here to support you every step of the way.
