If you are interested in applying for Financial Aid to help with the program cost of $17,650, use BCIT’s school code 042856 when applying for benefits online at studentaid.gov. Any remaining balance will be due based on our Payment Plan: $3025 deposit due at the of registration, followed by 9 consecutive monthly payments of $1,625. A signed payment plan contract is mandatory before beginning the program.

Program cost does not include ATI software (approx $2350 paid directly to ATI), Certification Fees, Equipment, Supplies, Textbooks, or Uniform (Royal Blue Scrubs-solid without prints, white shoes).  

Program Requirements:

  1. Complete the ATI TEAS test with BCIT Adult Ed (SIGN UP NOW for one of the following dates)

    • Code: TEA101 OCT26 - Wednesday, October 7th from 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m

    • Code: TEA101 NOV26 -

      Wednesday, November 11th from 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m

    • Code: TEA101 DEC26 -

      Wednesday, December 9th from 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m

  2. After receiving conditional acceptance make initial payment with ATI and begin the LAUNCH program

  3. Complete all program application forms.

  4. Complete FAFSA

  5. Pay required first installment of the program.

  6. Attend mandatory Orientation session ( First day of program)

  7. Submit all program prerequisites by the given deadline.

Program Prerequisites:

  1. Physical, Immunizations, and 10-Panel Urine Drug Test 

  2. Criminal Background Report

  3. Official High School transcript or US equivalent.

  4. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Certification - AHA (BLS/CPR Class) 

  5. Proof of personal health insurance.

  6. Individuals should possess strong communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.  

Entry into the Program will depend upon satisfactory submission of required documentation!

Program covers a wide range of topics, including:

  • Health Sciences: Anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, nutrition, and medical terminology.

  • Social Sciences: Psychology, sociology, and human development.

  • Humanities: Communication, ethics, and cultural diversity.

  • Nursing Theory: Fundamental nursing concepts, patient assessment, and care planning.

  • Lab Skills Training: Hands-on training in essential nursing skills, such as vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.

  • Clinical Experiences: Provides valuable practical experience in various healthcare settings, allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills under the supervision of qualified professionals.

  • NCLEX-PN Preparation: Prepares students to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN), the national licensing exam for LPNs.

August 31, 2026 - July 30, 2027 Monday - Friday 8AM to 4:30PM

EVENING SCHEDULE: January , 2028 - July, 2029 Monday - Thursday 5PM - 9:30PM (NO CLASS IN AUGUST) REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN SPRING OF 2027

Additional Information: Please review all Allied Health Program Prerequisites and our District Policies before registering for a course. All students must wear their BCIT issued photo ID with name clear and visible (ID will be issued during the first week of class).
